Elon Omega & the Survival of Consciousness

I wanted to address Elon, his mission to “Occupy Mars” and his many posts about “the survival of consciousness.” Notice that he doesn’t say “the survival of the human race” or “the survival of biological life.”  He continues to say the “survival of consciousness” which to me sounds a lot like some version of immortality and the way he is using this phrasing has a much deeper layer of meaning than most people realize.
