Has the Antichrist been revealed by a very unlikely source? (Revisited and updated)

About a year ago, I made a video titled Has the Antichrist Been revealed by a Very Unlikely Source and I have decided to revisit the topic, as promised, and produce an updated video. In the first video, John MacArthur made a case for the identity of the anti-Christ. The problem is, MacArthur got it wrong and he was very slick about it, very clever. Here’s what’s difficult about discerning the teachings of MacArthur, not just this one but a lot of his stuff…he’s polished and professional, articulate and intelligent, makes a dynamic case and executes it with masterful skill.

Whether he’s deliberately setting out to do it or not, and you can decide that for yourself, he is covertly and masterfully reshaping and re-branding Christianity in a way that engineers the minds of his followers to accept the New World Order. And, he’s so good at it that while he is manipulating you to accept the New World Order, you will think he’s doing the opposite, that he’s preparing you to stand against it. Very slick, very clever indeed. And he has an army of staunch defenders and devotees.

Now, I’m not here to pick on John MacArthur, so everyone just settle down. He’s making a case for the anti-Christ so let’s put it to the test. A tree is known by it’s fruit. So, let’s focus on the fruit. And then I will explain exactly how he was wrong about his theory of the anti-Christ.

One thing I realized right out of the gate after really looking into this was his tendency to condemn things at the pulpit, things that should be condemned, but then covertly practice them in his own ministry.

Here’s a few things you may already know because its been exposed for quite some time now. He condemns The Seven Mountains of Dominionism movement that emerged from the Charismatic church and is spearheaded by numerous members of secret societies like Knights of Malta, Order of the Jesuits and Freemasonry. And, yet MacArthur comes from a long line of Freemasons himself. Dad and five grandfathers before him were all modernist Jesuit-trained Freemason preachers.

Great granddad and his cousins General Douglas MacArthur and his father, Captain Arthur MacArthur, were highly exalted Freemasons who held multiple noble offices for the Scottish Rite. In Scotland, the MacArthur Clan is believed to be Knights Templar and of the royal lineage of King Arthur, and the Merovingian dynasty.

One of his famous quotes is used on a Freemason website seeking “good men” for leadership and he uses the master craftsman theme in a promo for one of his many leadership programs. Freemasons love leadership programs. That’s their whole thing, to recruit and cultivate world leaders with the intent to dominate the world from the "seven mountains;" religion, family, education, government, media, arts & entertainment, and business.

MacArthur condemns the prosperity gospel and yet he leads a megachurch, has a multi-million dollar ministry, his own bible college and seminary (if you look at the logo, there’s many shepherd staffs signifying many leaders, he has authored numerous best-selling books, several books on leadership. Let’s put it this way, MacArthur has become extremely wealthy doing what he does.

He condemns the emergent church, tongue talking name it and claim it working of miracles and word of knowledge that evolved out of the Pentecostal/Charismatic church and has made the tragic and inevitable descent into this ego-driven worldliness and the occult. MacArthur condemns them at the pulpit then turns around and holds annual pagan-inspired youth festivals, titled “Regeneration” that coincide on specific pagan festival dates.

The major festivals of the pagan world are Samhain (October 30-31), Imbolc (February 1-2), Beltane (April 30-May 1) and Lughnasadh (August 1). During these celebrations, pagans honor their false gods by painting their faces and bodies and participating in warrior games, fertility rituals and animal and human sacrifices. MacArthur's summer youth camps coincide with the Celtic Druid festival of Lughnasadh which, incidentally, is also titled the “Festival of Regeneration.” Lughnasadh is the celebration of a pagan god, from Irish folklore, who was a giant, a Nephilim named Lugh, meaning Shining One.

You can’t make this up folks. It’s like a slap in the face.

MacArthur teaches Lordship Salvation. Lordship Salvation which is one of his flagship movements that he also started in the 80s, says that one must be willing to forsake everything and even be willing to die for Jesus to receive salvation. That they must resolve to have implicit obedience and fully surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Notice he is not saying that this is the attitude of believers after they have been saved. He is saying one must have this attitude in order to be saved in the first place. In his book Hard to Believe, MacArthur says that if anyone wants to be a Christian they must face three commands; deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Jesus.

On it’s face it sounds correct. But be very careful, because MacArthur teaches that these three things have to be addressed before one can be saved and become a child of God, that these are the prerequisites to salvation, which requires a sinner to do what he is unable to do. He must do all these things in order to receive the salvation Jesus offers, even before he has the Spirit of God dwelling in him. The salvation Jesus offers is no longer a free gift to be received; it is a gift to be meritoriously achieved, earned by merit, earned by works.

MacArthur also teaches pre-tribulation rapture, a radically unscriptural idea that emerged from the Jesuits. MacArthur sets up a straw man as all pre-tribbers do, using these three verses (John 14:3, 1 Cor 15:52, and 1 Thes 4:16-17) to "prove" a rapture doctrine. and none of those have anything to do with a "rapture." But, take away his straw man, that those three verses do not describe a rapture, and his reasoning falls apart. Pre-tribulation rapture, the idea of being "raptured" off to a far-away place, of abandoning earth, disembodied spirits vs. bodily resurrection, all that stuff is pure Platonism, Epicureanism. MacArthur doesn’t get his teachings from the Apostle Paul. He gets them from Greek philosophers like Plutarch.

John MacArthur teaches that you can be redeemed after taking the mark of the beast, which stands in stark contrast to multiple scriptures, notably (Rev 14:9-11 and Rev. 20:4). The mark of the beast and the system of currency go hand in hand in the Great Tribulation period. The image of the beast and the mark are already here and people have already taken it and hold it up to worship as it continues to manifest and rise to the fullness of its power. But, during the Great Tribulation, there will come a point in time where if you identify as Christian and adhere to God’s word, and also reject the beast and everything he stands for, your use of money in the system will be revoked, you won’t be able to gain access to it. But, as of today, you still have liberty to be a functioning Christian in open society and still use money, bank online, make purchases online or operate from cash if you want even though that is becoming increasingly more difficult.

Once we get to that point and you choose to deny Christ, God and His word and accept the beast and everything he stands for so you can use money, you will suffer the eternal consequences. You cannot accept the mark and be redeemed. MacArthur is wrong, dangerously so, and so many believe him, lending to that lukewarm believer syndrome that affects so many in the body of Christ, especially in these last days.

There will be no question as to what the mark stands for prior to taking it. If you take the mark, you are entering into a binding contract with your eyes wide open, no trickery, no taking of hostages. The trickery comes with the controllers easing everyone into accepting this system long before it gets to that point, the slow progression where eventually every life sustaining aspect of civilization is bound inside the system. Once the great tribulation is upon us, Christians will be forced to extract themselves and to walk away and it will be difficult in the extreme to survive.

Thankfully those days will be shortened.

MacArthur first introduced this concept in 1980 and has issued no retraction since. He pivots this idea on the mark of the beast being a bar code or RFID microchip implant, a very popular idea among end-time prophecy propagandists in the 80’s, when the technology became available and gained traction ever since. A bar code or microchip implant does not fulfill the scriptural requirements for the mark of the beast. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t. And we’ve long surpassed the technology of the microchip anyway. The scriptural context of receiving a mark on the hand or forehead is figurative, not literal.

The hand and forehead represent one’s actions and thoughts. The mark of the beast, which is the counterfeit of the seal of God, because Satan is the counterfeiter. Everything he does is to become exactly like God and then present a counterfeit reality which removes and negates God entirely, attempting to show how unnecessary God is. The mark of the beast is not necessarily a device hidden under the skin. It’s a behavior, a choice, that will be an obvious association that you can see out in the open.

When people take the mark, they will know what it is but that doesn’t mean that they recognize it as Satan. Only believers will recognize it for what it really is. People always miss this. Remember, Satan’s lie in the garden was if they ate the fruit, they would become as gods themselves, that God was completely unnecessary. Nothing has changed. What the mark represents is rejecting God and His Son. It won't look like Satan, it will look like there is no Satan and there is no God, and the only way to human salvation is with the aid of the beast system.

The mark is not some technology that wrecks the DNA preventing salvation and glorification, although I'm sure the enemy is working to accomplish that because he is a destroyer. And, some of the things they are doing with collecting, cataloging and decoding human DNA with the aid of artificial intelligence is disturbing.

But, even if they did accomplish that, to alter human DNA to the point where humans aren’t really so human anymore, even this could not stop God from saving the individual if they repented, sought forgiveness, and accepted Jesus as their savior. The only thing that prevents a person from being saved is the permanent decision to reject Jesus, unwaveringly. Nothing else has that power. However, in one’s rejection of Christ and coupled with compromised DNA, that is sure to open the population up to demonic possession of a magnitude not seen since the days of Noah and the Nephilim. Which is a topic I will cover soon in an upcoming video, so stay tuned for that.

So, if all of those teachings weren’t bad enough, I’ve saved the worst for last.

MacArthur teaches that Christians are literal slaves of Christ. In 2010, MacArthur wrote a book titled Slave: The Hidden Truth About Your Identity in Christ and in it he asserts that Christians are not servants as the English bible translation reads. But, rather, according to Edgar J. Goodspeed, a well-known liberal scholar who taught modernist theology, asserts that the Greek word 'doulos,' which is translated in our English bibles to mean 'servant,' actually translates to mean a literal slave. MacArthur asserts that there is a centuries long conspiracy that he has commissioned himself to expose.

Even in the Old Testament, the distinction given by God Himself defines the terms between 'servant' and 'slave,' in Exodus 21:2-6 and Leviticus 25:39-43. The purchasing of Hebrew servitude was limited to six years. During that time he was to be treated as a hired servant, like an employee, and not as a slave, a very clear and specific distinction. After six years the hired servant was given liberty to move on, or he could choose to stay on indefinitely, if he so desired.

In John 15:15, Jesus says:

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Or, in Galatians 4:6-7, where Paul says:

“And because ye are Sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

There’s many more, but these verses alone completely destroy the whole idea and are conveniently left out of MacArthur’s book. He makes no mention of the body of believers being the bride of Christ. And if you visit his YouTube channel you will notice that comments have been disabled for the majority of his videos.

How convenient.

And Professor Murray Harris, another modernist with questionable theology and quoted in MacArthur’s book as a qualified Christian scholar. Professor Harris has a lot of strange ideas, notably denying the death and resurrected body of Jesus. Harris believes that Jesus never had a human body, that the Jesus everyone saw was only an avatar, a hologram of sorts and that the scourging, crucifixion and resurrection was some theatrical act for the benefit of the apostles and certain other observers. He claims that Jesus was brought up to God after the staged crucifixion event, in secret in this special avatar body, and then re-materialized later on at will.

Murray Harris quotes:

‘In his resurrected body...his essential state was one of invisibility and therefore immateriality.’

‘Another characteristic of Jesus’ resurrection body was the ability to materialize and therefore to be localized at will.’

‘The Ascension vividly dramatized Christ’s earlier exaltation to God’s right hand—a parable acted out for the benefit of the disciples as a visual and historical confirmation of a spiritual reality.’

Guess who else believes that they are literal slaves to their God and that Jesus never died on the cross? That He never had a human body at all and that He was brought before God in a special holographic body which can rematerialize in the earth whenever He wants?

Islam.

So why am I telling you all this? How was MacArthur specifically wrong about the Mahdi and the anti-Christ? MacArthur made such a clear case, right?

Wrong.

The Bible was written between 1400 BC & 95 AD. By 400 AD, hundreds of years before Muhammad, the bible was already widely distributed throughout the known world at that time in multiple languages. Muhammad did not write the Qur’an until 610 AD, after a cave revelation from an entity that identified itself as the angel Gabriel.

Guess who else had a cave revelation with a visiting angel?

Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Jesuits, who took the message of a divine cave serpent, that came to him after pledging his life and work to the goddess Ishtar. He then went on to build and lead an army for the Vatican known as the Jesuits to propagate Maryism and later pre-tribulation and secret rapture.

Muhammad was a caravan trader in 7th century Arabia who for his entire life was surrounded by and was himself a pagan who worshipped hundreds of idols. He was strongly influenced by the various teachings and practices that were present during his time which all became a part of Islam. Jewish monotheism had spread into many communities in Arabia, along with biblical and heretical stories about Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David. Heretical teachings about Jesus and Mary from marginal Christian cults believed in things like Jesus speaking at birth, Jesus giving life to clay birds, etc.. which had all become firmly established in the region.

The Sabians, who are mentioned in the Qur’an, prayed five times each day, performed ceremonial washings, prayed facing Mecca, took the annual pilgrimage to Mecca, surfed the Ka’aba, and kissed the black stone. All of these teachings and practices became a part of Islam. A few of his revelations were rather self-serving like taking more than four wives and marrying the wife of his adopted son, and, of course to go on to become the reverent spiritual leader of a new religion that will eventually dominate the entire earth and everyone in it.

You know who else had the same self-serving goals? Ignatius of Loyola who had great military aspirations of becoming a great general in an army for the church, to reinstate her lost position of world power to the Protestants and bring everyone on the earth under her submission.

These ideas came from the minds of self-serving, megalomaniacal men, but were they demonically influenced?

These two religions were designed to keep people from the true Gospel. The key elements of the Christian Gospel consist of three doctrines: (1) Jesus is the divine Son of God, who (2) died on the cross, and (3) rose from the dead. We’re also told in the New Testament that false prophets, plural, would come, and that they would try to distort this message. Anyone who teaches his followers to reject these doctrines, we would expect was led by something demonic.

And, he admits to having at least one revelation that came from Satan himself.

Muhammad initially thought he was demon-possessed. After his cave experience, he became suicidal and tried to hurl himself off a cliff. Ignatius also became suicidal after his cave experience. It was Muhammad’s wife (and cousin) who weren’t present during the cave experience, who eventually convinced him that he wasn’t possessed, but rather, a prophet of God.

When Muhammad was preaching in Mecca, he hadn’t made many converts. He needed another revelations to show up that would help convince them. And one did. Part of Surah 53, it said that there are three goddesses that can be prayed to: al-Lat, al-Uzza, and Manat. He bowed down prostrate to them, and his followers bowed as well. But soon after, he came back and said that these verses were from Satan. It seems he couldn’t tell the difference between a revelation from God and a revelation from Satan.

What does this mean?

It means that both of these men fashioned a religion in their mind, initially to fulfill their own agendas, and designed to keep people from the true Gospel. The devil slid right in there and brought the bonus round; to bow down to idols, the thing God hates. It is clear all the ingredients are there for the devil to claim ownership to this territory, just like any other false prophet, and there are many. It starts in the mind that rejects the truth and authority of the Gospel, serves the ego and then the devil moves right in and takes the wheel. Because he has a right to be there, it is territory that belongs to him.

Why is this important?

Because if anything, both of these men fit the description of false prophets. The Mahdi is a made-up character, one of many, stitched together from various pagan cults in the world and across the span of human history, The Mahdi was invented to oppose the authority of the Bible point-by-point which was already widely distributed, read and understood at the time. It might be demonically influenced, but there is nothing prophetic about it.

Its rather slick and masterful how MacArthur gives divine credibility to this blasphemous work. MacArthur is making the case for an Islamic anti-Christ but fails to see the dramatic similarities with all the other false ones, like Ignatius, who came much later but went on to establish and rule the very secret society that gave MacArthur his training, his ideology, and his mission: The Jesuits. While his followers will be looking for an imaginary person called the Mahdi, which isn’t even in the Koran by the way and doesn’t meet the biblical requirements for the anti-Christ anyway, the real anti-Christ will enter the scene and none of them, not one of them will be prepared for it.

The bible tells us where the anti-Christ will pitch his tent which will involve world politics. But the anti-Christ will not align with any known world religion. It will demand worship above and apart from all religions, especially Christianity, and seat himself in the middle of God’s holy territory. He will dominate as the leader of the one world government, set himself above everything, every religion, every nation and system of government. He will create a new anti-religion and the appearance of an anti-government where the people seem to rule, collectively. It will appear atheistic, humanist, promising the individual godlike status, command of their own destiny and salvation and even everlasting life.

There is no scripture that states that Satan will appear on the world stage in his own form and the world will bow down. No. Scripture tells us that a representative of Satan will stand on the world stage and command worship. Satan is a deceiver, there is no truth in him. The one who stands on the stage…it will look like a savior, in terms of, that sit will appear to have the answers to all our problems, that it cares for humanity and the planet and wants to save it. It will look like a savior to those who don’t know Jesus.
